What does the scholarship application process look like?

Learn more about the eligibility criteria for each scholarship and fill out the application form.

STEP 3

The OWIS Scholarship Committee will carefully review your application and documentation.

STEP 4

If you are awarded a scholarship, the Admissions Team will get in touch with you by email.

Who can apply for an OWIS scholarship?

Our scholarship programmes are open only for new primary and secondary students (Grade 1 to 12) who have recently enrolled at OWIS, as well as existing students.

While you are welcome to apply for a scholarship before you have enrolled with us, in order to qualify for the scholarship you must have completed the admissions process.

Please note that places are limited. Once all scholarship places are filled, the scholarships will no longer be available.

How do I know if my child is eligible for a scholarship?

Once you’ve filled out the form above, our Admissions Team will get in touch with you via email.

We will include the eligibility criteria for your chosen scholarship so you can find out what we’re looking for, including any documentation we will need from you.

After that, you simply fill out the scholarship application, which is then going to be reviewed by our Scholarship Committee before a decision is made.

If your child is not eligible for the scholarship you’ve applied for, we will notify you by email.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

In theory, yes. However, during the review process, your child will be considered only for one scholarship. This is to ensure that each scholarship is awarded to the most deserving and qualified students.

Is there a deadline to apply?

At the moment, all scholarship programmes are open for application all year round.

However, since places are limited, we encourage you to apply as soon as you can so we can consider your application.

What percentage of the tuition fees can be covered?

Our scholarships are available for up to 2 years and may cover 10 to 80 per cent of your child’s annual tuition fees.

Will our scholarship renew automatically?

Scholarships do not automatically renew, so we encourage you to re-apply for any scholarship your child may be eligible for, regardless if they had previously been deemed ineligible.

(for students looking to join OWIS in Grades 6 to 9)

The scholarship offers an opportunity to students to have a meaningful learning experience that will prepare them to qualify for their higher studies at reputed universities in the world.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicant must be a Singapore Resident

2. Student must currently be in Grade 5, 6, 7 or 8.

3. Online MCQ Scholarship Entrance Test in Maths and English (mandatory)

4. One-to-One Interview (If applicable)

Scholarship Process

1. Click the ' Register Your Interest ' button to submit preliminary details.

2. You will receive an acknowledgement email with the application form. Please fill in all the fields in this form with accurate data.

3. Post review of your application by the scholarship committee, your child will receive an invite to sit for the Online/In-campus Scholarship Entrance Test.

4. If your child is successful in the test, he or she will be invited for a One-to-One Interview (if applicable).

5. The scholarship committee will decide on which candidates are approved to be awarded the scholarship.

6. Successful applicants will be notified by email within 4 weeks’ time (from the date of scholarship cycle closing)

Incomplete Applications will not be processed.
